This ensures the treat has the lowest possible fat content, keeping the energy value low. The goal should be to continue rewarding your dog while maintaining a healthy weight. The crude fiber content is also slightly higher to promote a feeling of fullness more quickly. Since it's a supplementary feed, these treats shouldn't contribute to a feeling of fullness and should only be given in small amounts.
